Linux & DevOps Engineering Intern

About the role

AO+ is looking for enthusiastic students interested in Linux administration, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Kubernetes and infrastructure automation.

Interns will work on building and maintaining internal engineering infrastructure and automation solutions used in real-world enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with Linux distributions, particularly Ubuntu and Linux Mint.
• Learn and implement Ansible automation.
• Assist with Kubernetes and container management.
• Work with Docker and Podman.
• Explore CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Assist in infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Work on Linux workstation automation and centralised authentication.
• Document technical implementations and troubleshooting procedures.

Skills required

• Basic Linux command-line knowledge.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Interest in Cloud, DevOps and automation.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or Python) is desirable.
